bloggy lunch saturday…
I feel so bad because I went and met up with a bunch of great, fun bloggy ladies on Saturday, and had a wonderful lunch with fantastic company… but I had to leave early to get ready to head to Grandpa J’s funeral, so I missed out on all the post-lunch fun, and also the picture sharing.
However, the other ladies there did such a wonderful job re-capping, that maybe I can just leave it to them, and promise to do justice to the next one — spaghetti sleepover, anyone???
Millie played the wonderful hostess/coordinator, and shared the stories of the odd looks for her cardboard sign in Sheepish in Seattle.
The Daring One shared her take of the day — belly laughs included, in Bloggers Get Hungry Too. I blush every time she gets to me… mostly because how weird that I make that impression!
Jenny covered it all in How I ended up on the Seattle waterfront with a lady holding a cardboard sign that says “What on earth is that smell?”.
Kimberly shared a great photo with numbers and names* in I’m Number One!
Annie told about her entire trip across country which precipitated the bloggy lunch thing in Turning MOLF’s into IRLF’s.
Carronin (Annie’s “sister in crime”!) covered the trip in Meeting NCS and Millie IRL.
No Cool Story (or, she who must not be shown in any photo!!) talked about her lunch and her entire weekend in Veni, Vidi, Blog! and Great NW Adventure.
CarrotJello shared her point of view — with no pictures! — in Oh, hi there…. and Don’t hold yer breath….. She’s due to have her baby any time now — well, on Friday (smart girl, planning it all!) — and she looked wonderful! (I would have been grumping around and complaining to anyone who’d listen if I were 10 months pregnant!)
An Ordinary Mom shared in Bloggers Unplugged.
And Eve, who posted in
So, all in all, I had a great time (I did get over being nervous, Millie!), met a lot of really fun ladies — many of whom live within reasonable drive times from me! — and only pouted for a little while about missing waffle cones!**
So. When’s the next one!? (she asked hopefully!) And next time I promise to not pretend to have a ‘real life’ to interrupt in the middle of the fun!
*That I missed out on — waahhhh! — because of that ‘real life’ interrupting mentioned earlier!
**Found out later that everyone missed out on those, since the ice cream place ran out of waffle cones — oh, the tragedy!

I didn’t hang around for waffle cones. I mean, I was there, but it was too cold and I thought, I could do without one. My rack is exceptional enough as it is.
I’m glad you got over being nervous! And I hope we can get together again soon!

I am glad you made it, even if you couldn’t stay very long. I just wish the table had been a different shape so I actually could have conversed with you. All well, it gives us the perfect excuse to meet again. Millie, are you planning it?

So happy I got the chance to meet you…and check out your nifty blog here. It’s beautiful! I’m thinking a spaghetti sleepover is worth the long drive. =)
